This is where you find out about all of the new and exciting news in the world of Nicsknots .
I can't beleive that it is already November. 2009 has been such a busy and exciting year for me and Nicsknots. I remember after the little flurry of Christmas 2008, thinking that I would have time to adapt some of my patterns and make loads of new and exciting designs before the end of 2009. Now there are only a matter of weeks before Christmas and I still haven't got all of those new patterns out.
Over the last few weeks I have introduced two new designs. Firstly, the Ruby bag which I made with the little-big girls in mind. The girls who think that the Lucy bag is too young for them but they still want something pretty to carry their things around in.
I love the simple shape of this bag and it allows me to play with bigger print material than I can with smaller bags. This would also be great as a mid-sized knitting project bag.
Last week I released the Miya bag which is currently my favourite bag. Based on a traditional Japanese knot bag, it is such a clean and clever design and ideal for your sock knitting. These are flying out of the shop at the moment so if you don't see what you like at the moment, email me and I will see what I can do.
